Thinking about those cone 6 glazes, I miss you raw materials! Update: While I do miss having raw materials at hand, I have fallen for commercial glazes in a big way. Stay tuned for a list of ultimate faves.
My favorite pass-time as of right now is designing seamless surface patterns for different art projects. I've made about 300 in the past few months and I would like to share a few with you. Below you will find a free downloadable .zip file with watercolor texture .pngs, watercolor tile .pngs and a paint swish .png for your creative endeavors. Please feel free to share any designs or sketches made with these free downloads.
I created a series of early 20th century color palette swatches to use in the Adobe Creative Suites. They are inspired by the important movements of the early 1900's and the Pantone color series books. Below is a sample of the swatch series on one of my original prints, and the free download .zip file of these swatches. I would like to share these free swatch palettes I created with you for your creative pursuits and would love to see what you create. Also included in this post are a few source images of inspiration by a few key artists of the early 20th century, which some of these color palettes are derived by and my Pinterest board of Edwardian Fashion. Please feel free to share any designs or sketches made with these free downloads.
I designed the cover, now I need to write the book......What do you see in your mind's eye?
